Apple would already be refining the new iPhone 6, according to some developers who have noticed particular accesses to their apps.
While iPhone 5S anticipations, the possible successor to the very recent iPhone 5, are pouring in, the first rumors concerning the release of the new iPhone 6 are already circulating online.
The news comes from the developer community, as in recent days some of them noticed that someone had left traces in application logs of a new identifier: “iPhone 6.1“.
This prompted a desire to know more, and so, having wanted to locate the access made by this new device, it was realized that it was outgoing traffic from an IP address in Cupertino, the very headquarters of Apple.
The website The Next Web reported this, thus outlining a possible timeline for the upcoming steps that will lead directly to the release of the iPhone 6.
It is indeed suggested that the new device could be marketed as early as June 2013, but at this point, one wonders if the launch of a hypothetical iPhone 5S is really planned, or if, rather, all resources are being spent on the iPhone 6.
In addition to thinking about a new release, it is also learned that – also in June – Apple could take the opportunity to also present the new iOS 7 operating system, which is also already under study. Could a combined launch of hardware and software be in the air on the same occasion?
Naturally, there is silence from the Cupertino labs, and thus these rumors are in no way confirmed, but neither are they categorically denied.
