New rumors about the iPhone 5 have started: the release will most likely be brought forward to counter the competition. Additionally, it seems that the screen will be larger.
It is no coincidence that the future is being discussed again iPhone 5 right in these days: it is clear that the presentation of the brand new Samsung Galaxy S III has shaken up the smartphone market.
It is also no secret that Apple’s main rival to the iPhone has always been the device from Samsung, since the previous model.
It is therefore in this perspective that we should frame the arrival of new rumors about the iPhone 5; the competition may have generated a series of accelerations even within Apple.
It seems in fact that the new iPhone 5 could be released worldwide by the summer, apparently even in the month of June.
So it would really be just a handful of weeks away and perhaps the timing seems too tight not to have already obtained some more in-depth information about the possible new features of the iPhone 5.
The only juicy detail that seems to have leaked with some degree of plausibility is the possibility that the new iPhone 5 could be equipped with a larger screen compared to previous models.
It would be a display of at least 4 inches: after all, all of Apple’s competitors have now launched models with screens of this size in recent months, so it hardly seems conceivable anymore to handle a new smartphone with a smaller screen capacity compared to the rest of the available offer.
If this particular detail were confirmed, it would mean that the chassis of the iPhone would have to be modified in favor of a definitely wider body, without however giving up thinness, lightness, and the unmistakable essential and clean design.
To learn more, we will probably have to wait until June 11, when the next “Worldwide Developers Conference 2012” will begin, scheduled precisely from June 11 to 15.
The timing, it is worth reiterating, appears too tight and limited for such a sudden release of the new iPhone: in the opinion of the writer, it is likely that the beginning of autumn will be the most logistically feasible moment for the arrival of iPhone 5 in stores worldwide.
