The iPhone 5 could be available for pre-order as early as mid-September, according to new rumors.
The curiosity surrounding the new iPhone 5 is so high that rumors are surfacing in large numbers.
Following some iPhone 5 previews, including those shared here on FullPress, mostly concerning its exterior appearance and screen dimensions, new release dates are beginning to leak.
The tech blog iMore has indeed announced a supposed official presentation date which would also simultaneously kick off pre-orders, at least for those destined for the United States: September 12, 2012, could be the “X-day”.
As for its arrival in Europe and the rest of the world, it seems probable that there will be a wait of a few more weeks: the rollout is presumably expected to begin around October 5th.
iMore states that the information was obtained from anonymous sources that have proven highly reliable in the past, without providing further details.
If everything is indeed confirmed, it would be the first time ever for Apple to initiate the pre-order process on the same day as the new product’s presentation.
However, Cupertino’s headquarters remain silent: there are never any confirmations or denials regarding the new iPhone, whose name might not even be iPhone 5.
After all, even the latest iPad model saw a change in this regard: one might wonder why continue to endlessly enumerate new devices.
Will Apple surprise its customers in this aspect as well?
