The new version of Apple’s operating system is just around the corner for Italian iPhones and iPads . iOS 7 is indeed ready for download , starting around 19:00 Italian time.
The steps to perform the update to the new operating system will be few and can be initiated in two ways: over-the-air (OTA) or via iTunes.
Regardless of your choice, it is strongly recommended to back up first to avoid losing data and contacts.
In the first case, over-the-air (OTA) , you can do it simply using your Wi-Fi connection.
However, there is a precise limitation to keep in mind: you need to have enough storage space available on your device.
The path to follow starts from Settings; then select General , and finally Software Update.
A long period of device usage is expected for this process, so it is advisable to ensure the battery is fully charged or at least that you can connect the iPhone or iPad to the charger.
If, on the other hand, you wish to update to iOS 7 via iTunes, simply connect your device to your PC, launching iTunes.
After proceeding with the backup, you will check for updates, which will then detect the availability of iOS 7. Once you confirm, everything will happen automatically.
Please note that the iOS 7 update will be available for iPad 2 and later ; for iPhone 4 and later , and for iPod Touch.
Those who download iOS 7 will be able to immediately use the new Control Center for instant access to the device’s main functions.
Furthermore, the graphics of the screens and icons will also appear different right away.
