Microsoft announces Internet Explorer 9, the all-new browser now ready in its definitive version. Here’s where to download Internet Explorer 9 and a video detailing the development phases of the new IE9.
Internet Explorer 9 has passed its beta and release candidate phases and is ready in its final version: Microsoft itself announced this, allowing the download of IE9 in forty languages.
As anticipated by previous articles that FullPress.it has dedicated to Internet Explorer 9, the first feature that stands out in this new version of the browser is its speed: with IE9, in fact, it is possible to utilize hardware acceleration with good performance, thus leveraging PC capabilities that — with other versions and other browsers — remained dormant and unused.
Another feature is the increased focus on privacy and online security: first and foremost, Internet Explorer 9 provides what is called “tracking protection.” In simple terms, each user can decide which sites to send data to or which others to block from accessing their information normally released during browsing sessions.
Furthermore, IE9 allows the characterization of downloads by “reputation”: this is a brand-new functionality that avoids redundant warnings for secure sites, while more severely flagging potential risks (including malware) from unknown sites. This process is also possible thanks to the integrated SmartScreen malware protection in IE9.
The download of Internet Explorer 9 is available on the official website labellezzadelweb.it. In the meantime, before testing the features of the new browser, here is the video that recounts the development phases of Internet Explorer 9.
