HTC presents its high-end smartphone equipped with Windows Phone 8: it’s called HTC Windows Phone 8X.
Along with the new HTC 8S, HTC has also introduced another, decidedly more powerful and complete smartphone: the HTC Windows Phone 8X.
This is indeed what can be considered HTC’s high-end offering, regarding the new devices equipped with Microsoft’s operating system.
As with the 8S, the selling price for the HTC Windows Phone 8X is not yet available as the company has not officially announced it; however, we can outline its technical specifications.
There are several differences between the two smartphones, starting with the screen: the HTC Windows Phone 8X features a 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 display with a 1280×720 pixel resolution.
Regarding the camera setup, there are two cameras: the main one (located on the back casing) is 8 megapixels with an f/2.0 aperture, LED flash, autofocus, BSI sensor, and full HD video recording capability.
The real novelty, however, concerns the front-facing camera, which is wide-angle and 2.1 megapixels.
The chosen processor is a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4, while the memory consists of 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
Unlike its smaller sibling, the HTC Windows Phone 8X includes an NFC module and is compatible with 3G and 4G networks.
In this case as well, audio is provided by the Beats Audio technology system, as with the 8S device.
Lightweight and practical design, with a polycarbonate body and edges, available in Limelight Yellow, Graphite Black, California Blue, and Flame Red colors.
This smartphone will also be released in November.
