HTC Sensation, the superphone beyond the smartphone

HTC announces that HTC Sensation, the superphone that goes beyond the concept of a smartphone, is about to go on sale. Here’s an overview of the main features of HTC Sensation.

HTC Sensation has arrived, and we’re already talking less about smartphones: HTC’s new device has indeed been defined a “superphone,” due to its ability to meet the needs of those who desire a complete multimedia experience, integrated with the capabilities of HTC Sense.
HTC Sensation will arrive in European retail outlets around the beginning of summer 2011, but the price of the device is not yet known.
The first feature of HTC Sensation that catches the eye is the slightly curved screen: a significant detail, as this shape helps fingers glide more easily over the 4.3-inch qHD display.
The processor of HTC Sensation is a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon at 1.2 GHz, ensuring excellent graphics performance.
The exterior is streamlined and made of aluminum, with a unibody construction.
The 8-megapixel camera allows for shooting vivid and detailed photos and recording HD videos at 1080p resolution.
Speaking of movie and video consumption, HTC Sensation implements the HTC Watch application, which allows users to buy or rent movies, viewable on up to 5 different HTC devices. Furthermore, HTC Watch enables progressive video download: this way, you can watch videos as they are downloaded, without losing quality and without waiting until the download is complete.
With such power and graphical performance, HTC Sensation is poised to become a multimedia device that goes beyond the classic features of a smartphone: a superphone, in essence.
