HTC takes advantage of IFA 2012 in Berlin to present its new smartphone HTC Desire X. Here are the officially confirmed features in detail.
HTC is increasingly focusing on online social interaction and has developed a new smartphone perfect for this purpose: it’s called HTC Desire X and was presented yesterday in Berlin.
Its processor is a dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 and, regarding the operating system, it runs Android 4.0, combined with the proprietary HTC Sense interface.
Everything runs on the 4-inch super LCD WVGA display which allows for brilliant colors and good visibility, as the viewing angle has been increased compared to previous HTC models already on the market.
Given the good performance, this smartphone also features integrated HTC Beats Audio for clean, powerful, and high-fidelity sound. Those who also own Beats headphones will enjoy the pre-set automatic configurations for an immersive experience.
The camera features a 5-megapixel sensor with BSI and an f/2.0 28mm lens. The flash adjusts automatically, as does the “Always Focus” autofocus system.
Just as with the launch of other HTC models, purchasing the HTC Desire X also grants access to 25GB of Dropbox space for two years.

The price of the HTC Desire X has not yet been announced, but more information will be available soon as its distribution in European stores begins in September.
