HP Connected Music, New Free Music Service

HP Connected Music is the new service from HP that allows you to enjoy free music. Here’s how it works.

In recent weeks, many giants of the web and e-commerce have decided to launch services dedicated to music. This was discussed just a few days ago regarding the new Google Play Music or, even earlier, concerning Amazon MP3 and Cloud Player. A move also implemented by HP which, alongside the sale of PCs, all-in-ones, notebooks, and ultrabooks, has decided to open the musical world to its users with the launch of the HP Connected Music service, available on Windows 8. By purchasing one of HP’s products, users will be entitled to 90 days of free streaming of all catalog tracks and, in some cases, will also be able to download music, up to 10 MP3s per month, for three months. In the latter case, however, one must purchase a high-end device, such as an Envy or a Spectre. The service is born from the collaboration between HP and Universal Music Group and also includes exclusive content, such as the launch content: the No Doubt concert held in Paris in the presence of a few journalists and a group of HP customers selected through a contest.

There’s even more: soon the possibility will be given to access videos and images related to the recording phases of new albums by their favorite artists and exclusive events that will be announced in the coming months. The new platform HP Connected Music is therefore certainly founded on music but also on an idea of special, almost exclusive and elite content, which is missing from the major platforms of this type. The service has just launched but is already fully active in Europe and therefore also in Italy.
