Google Voice Coming Soon to Android Smartphones

Just 24 hours after the debut of Google Voice, the new telephony service connected to Gmail, Google records an excellent response that seems to be already hiding the next move: extending Google Voice to Android smartphones.

The debut of Google Voice in the United States and Canada has seen a boom in phone calls: on the first day of release of this innovation, 1 million web calls were made to landline numbers using the Google/Gmail service.
A tangible appreciation that, if it were to develop, would be destined to grow. Google Voice is only at the beginning of its journey, but the stakes are already getting higher: it seems, in fact, that the next step will be the availability of the application also on Android smartphones. There is no official date yet, but applications are already circulating online which, it should be specified, have not been authorized and therefore must be understood as illegal and unsafe.
However, this opens up new scenarios for telephony, this time also mobile: a decisive step forward for which many await countermeasures from Skype and from traditional telephone operators. Will there be a race to lower prices? Certainly, the market cannot remain inert in the face of so many innovations.
