Unwanted senders can be blocked on Gmail, thanks to a new feature.
Gmail is evolving and continuously providing new tools for its email service users.
The latest news is the ability to block unwanted senders.
Until now, insistent or bothersome emails could already be “disposed of” with a simple setting, to direct them straight to the Spam folder.
However, a step further has been taken, allowing users to completely block an unwelcome sender, whether using the desktop version or the mobile app version.
All you need to do is open the email in question and open the dropdown menu that appears when you click the arrow icon, located in the top right corner.
Among the various options available, you will notice the presence of the “Block” option. With one click, the procedure will be completed.
Also with just one click, you can unsubscribe from various newsletters, without even having to follow the internal link that is usually contained in the text of commercial or similar emails. In this case too, a specific Gmail menu option will allow you to suspend incoming mailings with a single, very fast step.
Naturally, you can always decide to undo this: previously blocked senders can also be unblocked, directly from the list that will be created based on your “preferences”.
This new functionality aims not only to prevent receiving unwanted emails but also to bring greater order to your Google email inbox.
