It seems that buyers of the new Samsung Galaxy S7 will receive a Gear VR headset as a gift.
Augmented reality viewers seem to be the next technological gadgets to capture the attention of potential buyers.
Probably to encourage their use and to get the adoption off the ground, it seems that Samsung has decided to give away the Gear VR viewer.
The rumor was spread by the Dutch site Android World, according to which all those who pre-order the new top-of-the-range Galaxy S7 smartphone will also automatically receive the aforementioned viewer.
The news certainly does not go unnoticed as it brings together several types of information.
Not only is there talk of the possibility of receiving the new Gear VR viewer as a gift – therefore completely free – but other details are also mentioned.
It is learned that the promotional initiative will cover pre-orders to be made between February 21st and March 10th, indicating March 11th as the first useful date for the start of shipments and therefore for the large-scale distribution of the Samsung Galaxy S7.
Curiosity and attention towards these devices is therefore very high, but to obtain more precise and official details, we will have to wait a few more days.
The new top-of-the-range smartphone from Samsung will in fact be fully unveiled at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona.
