A new smartphone is about to arrive, the Fujitsu Toshiba IS12T. This isn’t just any news; the significance lies in the fact that it will be the first device with Windows Phone Mango.
The Windows Phone Mango operating system is officially here: it has chosen to debut on the Fujitsu Toshiba IS12T smartphone.
Expectations are high, and they will likely be met no earlier than the end of September. A precise release date is not yet known, just as little is known about the device itself regarding technical specifications and price.
From what little has leaked, we can anticipate that it will be – at least on paper – a “super smartphone”: a 1 GHz Qualcomm processor, 32 GB of memory, and a 13.2-megapixel camera.
The screen will certainly be a 3.7-inch LCD, but above all, it will be a water-resistant smartphone, or rather – to be precise – waterproof.
Meanwhile, it has come to light that Windows Phone Mango has just reached the RTM version, meaning it has been stabilized and is therefore available for distribution to device manufacturers.
The roadmap is perfectly on track: it appears that autumn will bring many smartphones equipped with WP Mango.
