Firefox 4 is set to be celebrated in Rome with a party titled “We all turned four”, an event organized by the Mozilla Foundation.
The Mozilla Foundation arrives in the vibrant scene of Rome with a party themed around Firefox 4: the release of the new browser is the perfect occasion to host public celebrations, showcasing all the new features and functionalities of Firefox 4.
The event, named We all turned four, is scheduled for Friday, April 15th, starting at 8 PM, at Forte Fanfulla, located in the Pigneto area of Rome. Entry is free, but as it is an Arci club, membership is required; in this regard, Mozilla will gift the first 100 new membership cards.
There will be something for everyone: from speeches to meetings about Firefox 4, to music, video screenings, and food.
Despite numerous delays that marked the release phases of Firefox 4, the Mozilla Foundation has plenty to celebrate: as highlighted in an official statement, over 78 million downloads were recorded within 15 days of Firefox 4’s release.
A significant number that, it seems, warrants at least an evening of celebration in Rome.
