Holiday-themed news is also arriving in the gaming sector this Easter season: an update for Angry Birds, aptly named “Easter,” is set to be released.
Rovio Mobile has announced the arrival of a special version of the now immensely popular game, which will definitely launch on the Apple Store. Distribution via the Android Market seems highly probable.
As always, Angry Birds features Rovio’s signature angry birds, now joined by Easter eggs and bunnies (or creatures dressed as bunnies). Players can look forward to enjoying this new chapter of the Angry Birds Seasons series on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
If, as is likely, the release on the Android Market is confirmed, all Android fans of these feathered friends will also benefit from the new installment.
The wait to get your hands – or rather, your fingertips – on Angry Birds Easter won’t be long: the official release is just a few days away and will probably be announced via a tweet, as Rovio famously uses this communication channel to launch news and rumors.
