These are some of the 15 solutions awarded in the 2017 edition of the Digital360 Awards, the contest organized by the Digital360 Group to identify the best digital innovation projects in the business sector developed by hi-tech providers in Italy. On the podium were Vodafone Italia, Air, MobileIron, RCCS Istituto Auxologico Italiano, Infocert, Arcadia Consulting, and SB Italia for the technological category awards; Cloud4Wi, Yoroi, Seen Solution, SERTEA WEB, and BaxEnergy Italia for the sector awards; WebRatio, FightTheStroke, and Mon-K Data Protection for the special awards category. The winning companies presented their solutions today at an event in Milan open to the public, in the presence of the CIOs of the most important Italian companies, who were part of the jury that selected them.

Now in its second edition, the Digital360 Awards aims to identify and reward the best digital innovation projects in the business sector and generate a mechanism for sharing best practices among companies, providers, startups, and institutions in various areas of digital innovation. Aimed at all hi-tech providers who have developed digital innovation projects with private companies or public administrations (including startups), the contest received a total of 150 applications this year. The evaluation committee, consisting of 53 CIOs from the main companies operating in Italy, selected 28 finalist projects from which the 15 winning solutions emerged, distinguished by the originality and innovativeness of their ideas, the concrete benefits provided, and the replicability of the model: the jury awarded one project for each of the 7 technological categories and one for each of the 5 vertical sectors (Fashion/Retail, Manufacturing, Public Administration, Telecommunications, Utility/Energy), in addition to special awards for the best Digital Transformation project, the project with the most significant social impact, and the most innovative startup.

“The winning projects of the Digital360 Awards represent examples of excellence in the use of digital technologies in business – explains Andrea Rangone, CEO of the Digital360 Group –. Examples that we intend to promote to foster virtuous contamination between public and private companies with the ultimate goal of promoting the culture of digital innovation in the country. The finalists had the opportunity to present their projects directly to the CIOs of large Italian companies, who in this scenario play an increasingly strategic role in driving digital innovation within companies, including that from external sources, in an open innovation logic.”
