Buffalo Technology announces the availability of the new TeraStation WSH5610, further expanding the range of Windows Storage Server 2012 R2-based NAS from the Japanese multinational.
This new proposal from Buffalo is designed to offer companies all the reliability, stability, and performance they need, thanks to Intel Quad-Core processors, 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and proprietary hardware RAID that manages the device through an integrated SSD, leaving the entire HDD array free for storage. This exclusive Buffalo technology allows for exceptional performance even when the NAS is subjected to the most intense workloads, including RAID rebuild operations.
Equipped with 6 WD Red hard drives specifically designed for NAS use, the new TeraStation WSH5610 is available with a total capacity of 12 or 24 TB and supports RAID 6, which, thanks to double distributed parity, offers a particularly high level of data protection. In the very rare case where two HDDs were to be damaged at the same time, no information would be lost and the system would immediately be able to proceed with RAID reconstruction without the need to interrupt its services.
The new TeraStation WSH5610 features Windows Storage Server 2012 R2 Standard Edition and therefore integrates perfectly with Windows computers and servers, allowing companies to expand their storage capacity with maximum simplicity and speed.
