Study on a Budget iPhone 4

An economical iPhone 4 to be introduced to the market as early as September, or October at the latest: this is the unofficial news being discussed, coinciding with the growing anticipation for the iPhone 5.

News has emerged that, if confirmed, could be of interest to those who desire an iPhone but consider it too expensive: apparently, an economical iPhone 4 version might be released soon.
This is only a rumor, however, circulated via Reuters, based on the fact that a study has revealed that the market still greatly favors the purchase of the 8 GB iPhone 3GS. So why not consider an iPhone 4 with reduced storage and, consequently, a reduced price?
However, the effort must be worthwhile: to what extent can the price of an iPhone be lowered compared to current models without creating excessive disparity between them?
As often happens in these cases, the “deep throat” of the scoop is a source close to Hong Kong and Taiwan, production sites for some of the components of Apple-branded products.
There’s more: it seems that the partners chosen for this new production are Samsung and Toshiba.
The rumors don’t go any further: no price has been quantified, so it’s not yet possible to hypothetically establish how much real convenience users might find in this presumed economical iPhone.
One thing is certain: Android-based devices are gaining sales and popularity among smartphone buyers. Therefore, Apple – although it has been a benchmark brand until today – can no longer sleep soundly with such competition that can satisfy even those with a limited budget with functional and very respectable models.
