BlackBerry 7, RIM’s New Operating System

RIM’s new operating system is called BlackBerry 7: its debut will coincide with the launch of five brand-new devices, expected at the end of August.

RIM is preparing for a very eventful late August: an integral part of the launch of any new smartphone is the inclusion of the new BlackBerry 7 operating system.
The core innovation is undoubtedly the web browsing speed that version 7 offers; however, other improved aspects compared to previous versions should not be overlooked.
Optimized zoom and panning for better navigation also complete the picture, thus improving performance from the perspective of enjoying HTML5 videogames and videos in general.
Within BlackBerry 7 – and therefore within the new BlackBerry Bold 9900, 9930, BlackBerry Torch 9810, BlackBerry Torch 9850, and 9860 all-touch smartphones – users will find a series of pre-loaded applications, among which we would like to mention the Premium version of Documents To Go, very useful for work.
Space is also given to BlackBerry Messenger and version 2.0 of Facebook for BlackBerry, to manage communication and social networking easily and very smoothly.
Also included are the BlackBerry Protect (for cloud) and BlackBerry Balance applications.
Finally, the voice search function has been greatly enhanced and refined, allowing users to perform web searches on the go without even typing the keyword of interest: it will be enough to pronounce it and the “dictation” will initiate the online search, without necessarily having to use their hands.
