Perhaps in Spring 2015, the world will discover the new Apple Watch smartwatch.
The release date for Apple’s “Apple Watch” smartwatch still seems to be some way off.
In fact, it’s being reported at this very moment that the wearable device might likely arrive on the market during Spring 2015.
Not before: potential buyers won’t be able to show off Apple’s advanced watch during the Christmas holidays, as was thought several weeks ago.
It appears that large-scale production has not yet begun and, according to rumors, production lines will start working for Apple Watch during January 2015.
The information regarding the spring timeframe was gleaned from comments made in a video message by Angela Ahrendts, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Retail and Online Stores.
From the transcript of her speech, it reads that we are approaching the year-end holidays, then there will be the Chinese New Year, and subsequently, the launch of the new smartwatch will occur during the spring season.
Therefore, from the end of March to the end of June, every day will be useful for scheduling the presentation of Apple Watch.
Official information on this new object of desire is still very scarce: Apple, in the immediate aftermath of its presentation, stated that the starting price for the most “basic” model will be around $350, but a maximum price has not yet been set, also because the level of customization achievable will be truly high-end: there is even talk of a model with gold components.
To find out more, one can only wait patiently for the official launch, as Apple – true to tradition – is usually very reluctant to release details in advance of a launch.
