According to some rumors, Apple is about to implement a system to correct errors in SMS messages already sent.
Interesting news appears to be coming from Cupertino’s labs: Apple seems to be working on a system for correcting SMS messages.
This has nothing to do with the automatic corrector that we are all accustomed to from the functions present on smartphones, whether they are iPhones or other models.
Sources from across the ocean reveal instead that Apple filed in 2012 for a patent for a mechanism capable of correcting spelling and typing errors in SMS messages already sent.
A great convenience: it often happens that we only notice errors after having already sent the text message.
With the new Apple-branded system, it seems that soon it will be possible to, in a sense, “intercept” the SMS, thus being able to correct the “incriminated” text.
However, this will only be possible under one condition: provided that the modification is made before the SMS reaches the recipient.
Therefore, the sender’s advantage will only last for a very short period, just a few seconds: timing will be essential.
Everything is still very theoretical and sketched out, in the study and design phase. Moreover, as always happens when it comes to Apple’s new projects, the company is not leaking any confirmation – nor denial – about it: the news should be taken for what it is, just a rumor, albeit a rather reliable one given that the patent relating to this novelty has indeed been filed.
