Acer is ready to distribute its new flagship tablet, the Acer Iconia W510, in Italy: here’s the release date and the established price.
We previously introduced Acer’s new tablet offerings following the announcement of the new Acer Iconia W510. Today, we’re returning to this specific device as its release date has been officially confirmed, allowing us to discuss its specific selling price.
The Acer Iconia W510 will be available for purchase in Italy starting Friday, November 9, 2012.
The initially rumored specifications have been confirmed: the tablet will feature a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
The operating system will be Windows 8, supported by an Intel Atom CPU running at 1.5 GHz.
It will come with 2 GB of RAM, and for internal storage, users can choose between a 32 GB or a 64 GB version.
In either case, there is an option to further expand storage space using a microSD card inserted into the dedicated slot.
Both cameras have also been confirmed: an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera.
External dock support has also been confirmed, which will allow the tablet to be almost entirely transformed into a netbook, utilizing the accessory as an external and easily portable keyboard.
The price of the Acer Iconia W510 will vary depending on the chosen memory capacity and configuration. Here is the officially released price list, in dollars:
