Acer Alive, digital store for free and paid content

Acer launches Alive, its new digital store where you can find plenty of multimedia content, both free and paid.

Acer Alive is the online store for multimedia content launched by Acer, aimed at enriching software and applications for smartphones, tablets, notebooks, netbooks, and PCs.
On Alive, you can find a wide selection of multimedia content to download (paid or free) and make available on your device.
A key feature is the ability to reuse downloaded content not only on the device used for the download but also on any other devices: the content is not restricted in any way.
Another point to consider: Acer Alive provides resources for any operating system.
Essentially, it’s a sort of iTunes (with due differences) but much less restrictive.
The Acer Alive offering is divided into 5 main categories:
1) Listen
2) Watch
3) Read
4) Play
5) Applications.
The breadth of content is clear, especially since various partners are involved in this project to offer an ever-increasing number of contents. If you need some numbers to get an idea, it’s useful to know that at its debut on Acer Alive, there will be around 2000 films, approximately 8 million songs, and thousands of applications, games, ebooks, and software.
Despite the vast amount of information, Acer Alive has a very rational and clear interface; furthermore, this new store captures user preferences, managing to propose content in line with their style, trying to identify preferences and tastes to offer an exhaustive overview of what is currently available.
Acer Alive will debut in Italy in December (presumably on the 20th), and then it will be extended worldwide.
