Sony is offering two options to brighten up Christmas: they are called Blu Box and Play Box. These are special “3D packages” available while stocks last from November 1st to January 15th, 2011, right in the Christmas period.
Simply visit participating Sony stores and purchase a Sony 3D TV. You can then choose between two options:
- Sony Blu Box:
This special package is designed for film and cinema enthusiasts. By adding 1 euro to the price of the Sony 3D TV, you will receive a BDP-S470 3D Blu-ray player, two pairs of 3D glasses, a transmitter, a 3D HDMI cable, and three 3D Blu-ray films: “Alice in Wonderland”, “This is it”, and “UEFA Champions League”. - Sony Play Box:
If you prefer gaming to cinema, then the right package includes a 160GB PS3 with a controller, two pairs of 3D glasses, a transmitter, and a 3D HDMI cable, plus a voucher to receive the highly anticipated GT5 in three dimensions upon its launch. In this case, however, you will need to add 99 euros to the price of the Sony 3D TV.
