Thecus announces the availability of the Multimedia NAS N4810. The bigger brother of the acclaimed N2810PRO, this new NAS signed Thecus is equipped with 4 GB of DDR3 RAM expandable to 8 GB, an Intel Celeron N3160 Quad-Core processor and, thanks to the presence of 4 HDD bays, can offer a total storage capacity of 40 TB, making it ideal for demanding users and small businesses looking for a solution that ensures high levels of data protection.
Its strong multimedia capabilities, which, as with the N2810PRO, allow for playing 4K videos on the big screen through the HDMI port or the DisplayPort, allow users to fully immerse themselves in the images, while the presence of the SPDIF port, to which digital audio systems can be connected, ensures top-level sound quality.
Also on the connectivity front, the new Thecus N4810 confirms exceptional equipment, including 3 USB 3.0 ports, plus a USB 3.0 Type-C, which allows direct connection to devices with the same port, without worrying about the connector’s orientation.
Particularly useful is the ability to view system messages at any time through a practical front LC display which, along with 4 buttons positioned at its base, also allows for managing the installation procedure and the unit’s basic settings.
To keep the working temperature under control at all times, the new N4810 is equipped with a generous 92 mm fan that, thanks to its special design, is capable of keeping noise emissions within 25 db even when operating at full speed.
Thecus N4810 is equipped with the ThecusOS 7.0 operating system, a high-performance platform that, through a particularly simple and intuitive user interface, offers a wide range of features including Photo Station, to easily manage your photo archive, File Center, to simply manage the documents stored on the NAS, and Thecus App Center, which allows you to easily install a wide range of applications on the NAS, from those dedicated to entertainment to those for productivity.
