Rumors continue to arrive regarding the upcoming release of a Whatsapp update: the well-known and widespread instant messaging system, in fact, will be updated to version 3.0 in the coming weeks.
It is learned, in fact, that the rumors that a figure had been established regarding the annual payment of the app on iOS apparently have a basis.
According to the latest rumors, in fact, even owners of iPhone e and iPad should soon start paying a fee at the end of each year of use, unlike what happens now: at the moment, in fact, Whatsapp is available on the App Store for a one-time price of 89 cents for download.
However, it remains unclear whether the subscription for iOS will only apply to new customers or will also affect existing users.
From this point of view, nothing will change for Android or Windows Phone, as this annual payment method is already used.
Rather, according to rumors, it seems it will be possible to pay for subscriptions spanning multiple years, up to a maximum of 5 years.
However, the news does not only concern the “accounting” aspect but also some interesting features.
Apparently, in fact, the new version of Whatsapp will see the arrival of the “Push-to-talk” system: it will be possible to dictate the text of messages to be sent via the instant messaging application, without necessarily having to use the keyboard (physical or virtual) anymore.
Another novelty concerns the sending of photos: at the moment, in fact, it is possible to attach one photo at a time to the conversation.
With the new update to version 3.0, however, you will be able to send multiple photos or images simultaneously, saving a considerable amount of time.
The availability date of the WhatsApp update is not yet known: all this could happen within a handful of days.
