IDC Banking Forum

The IDC Banking Forum takes place on November 29th in Milan, at La Posteria, Via Giuseppe Sacchi 5/7. Registration begins at 9:00 AM and the conference concludes at 5:00 PM.

The IDC Banking Forum is dedicated to the economic outlook for 2012, defined as a year of strategic strabismus between optimization and innovation. In this context of significant change, there is no room for ambiguity or continuous revisions: market volatility demands both strategic and operational agility in defining actions and, if necessary, radically changing them with high reactivity in very short timeframes.

The conference aims to answer specific questions:

• What technologies will help banks in their innovative strategies for 2012?

• What will be the role of innovation in business processes within the Italian banking sector?

• What does 2012 hold in store?

The IDC Keynote Speaker for the event is international speaker Vito Mabrucco, Senior Vice President of IDC Worldwide Consulting. With his presentation, he will preview some of the Predictions defined by IDC for the new year: social, mobile, cloud, and big data, new strategies driving innovation in the banking sector.

The conference allows participants to engage with the experience of major Italian banks, with speakers including Pier Luigi Curcuruto, Chief Operating Officer of Gruppo Intesa Sanpaolo; Massimo Castagnini, CEO of Consorzio Operativo Gruppo Montepaschi; and Massimo Basso Ricci, Deputy General Manager of Cariparma.

The IDC Banking Forum 2011 concludes with an economic address by the well-known and insightful journalist and radio host, Oscar Giannino.

Participation in the conference is free for employees of Banks, Insurance companies, and Financial Institutions.
