The fully rugged tablet Getac T800next-generation tablet is designed to meet the needs of operators and technicians working outdoors, in sectors such as utilities, field service, and Public Safety, transportation services, and is generally the perfect device for those working in difficult and cramped environments.

Designed for comfortable one-handed use, the fully rugged tablet Getac T800 features a slim and ergonomic design, with an touchscreen of ideal dimensions for better productivity. The excellent performance battery can be supplemented by an optional SnapBack battery, whose hot-swap design offers practically unlimited autonomy.
Its design is slim and ergonomic, the 8.1-inch touchscreen provides a large workspace for viewing documents and entering data with minimal screen scrolling, the LumiBond 2.0 display is readable in direct sunlight and offers a 10-point sensitive touch, while the 16:10 aspect ratio and 170-degree viewing angle make reading optimal from any angle.

The available touch functions, Rain, Glove, and Pen (pen with hard tip + optional digitizer mode), allow for optimal adjustment of writing sensitivity on the tablet. The external rubber casing protects against shocks and drops, while the non-slip surface makes it easy to grip.

Field work, outdoors or in particularly difficult environments, demands maximum functionality and long battery life: the T800 from Getac was designed precisely to meet these needs. Supported by an efficient Intel Atom processor, the fully rugged tablet Getac T800 offers the best performance in terms of battery life: 10 hours of autonomy with the standard battery and another 10 hours with the optional hot-swap SnapBack battery. SnapBack options include a 2-in-1 reader for SmartCard and RFID/NFC or, alternatively, a 2-in-1 reader for SmartCard and magnetic stripes.
Thanks to the use of advanced Windows 10, Getac confirms its commitment to system security, which has always been a priority in the design of its products.

When booting up, the tablet TPM 2.0 monitors and protects the system, ensuring no malfunctions, before handing over control to the operating system, while BitLocker protects data at rest, in transit, and in use. Multi-factor authentication solutions, such as the SmartCard e RFID reader, work in conjunction with Microsoft Windows 10 identity protection systems, Microsoft Passport, and Credential Guard, to further protect the system.

Ideal for technicians and operators collecting data in the field, the fully rugged tablet Getac T800 offers a Full HD webcam for optimal quality video conferencing and an 8-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash for sharp images and videos, while dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac technology and the 4G option ensure reliable connectivity.

The expansion slot can be configured for various optional solutions, such as a 1D and 2D barcode reader, RS-232 interface, LAN connection, or MicroSD reader, making the T800 suitable for a wide range of applications. Gamber-Johnson and Havis vehicle docking stations offer triple-function Pass-Through antenna ports, allowing simultaneous connection of roof-mounted high-gain WWAN, WLAN, and GPS antennas. The dedicated optional GPS allows for highly accurate location positioning.

Getac is synonymous with durability, and the T800 is a testament to this. The tablet complies with MIL-STD 810G and IP65 standards for resistance to rain, dust, vibration, drops, falls from almost 2 meters, and extreme temperatures, from -21 °C to 50 °C (in operation) and from -40 °C to 70 °C (off).
