Google Contributor: subscription to eliminate advertising

How to eliminate banners and advertising on websites? Google launches Contributor.

News from the Google solutions galaxy: the project called “Google Contributor” is being presented.
Currently, this is a beta version feature, therefore intended only for a limited number of people who can request it or access it via invitation.
By joining Google Contributor, you will have to pay a monthly subscription of a few dollars to say goodbye to viewing advertising banners and videos on websites.
This would seem like a sensational own goal against all those website owners who pay Google every day to advertise online.
In reality, the headquarters in Mountain View indicates that the sums paid by users will directly finance the website owners.
In practice, internet users can decide how much to pay each month (even just 1 dollar) and at the same time they can choose one of the partner sites to “finance” with part of the sum paid, from those on a list provided by Google.
At the moment, the portals that have joined this project are about a dozen, all from overseas.

We will therefore test how the public will react, who can freely decide to subsidize one of these sites, obtaining in return the disappearance of advertisements.
This is therefore a new business model that, however, is still entirely to be clarified: at the moment it has not been disclosed how much Google will retain from the sums hypothetically paid by users and how much will instead end up in the pockets of publishers and website owners.
