Apple is reportedly about to officially present the new iPad 5; meanwhile, preview photos are emerging online.
After learning the release date and prices in Italy for iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, here’s more news regarding Apple’s upcoming moves.
Increasingly insistent rumors speak of the imminent presentation of iPad 5, during a dedicated event that could take place as early as October 22, 2013.
While the first photos are starting to leak – an example is featured alongside this article – there’s also talk of potential technical specifications, following Apple’s latest innovations in its most recent iPhone models.
Therefore, we expect for instance from the iPad 5 the same fingerprint reading system as the iPhone 5S, the Touch ID.
Furthermore, it seems that the iPad 5 will be thinner and lighter than its predecessors, and there’s also mention of the possibility of enabling wireless charging.
There should also be news for the camera, which could see an upgrade, bringing it to an 8-megapixel sensor.
The last technical detail being discussed is the processor: it’s likely that the new tablet will feature a 64-bit A7 processor, more powerful and performant.
As usual in these cases – and especially when referring to Apple – the conditional is always mandatory: these previews have not been denied, nor have they been confirmed by the Cupertino executives.
Apple has always maintained great secrecy, especially approaching its events: indeed, this time too, there are no official statements on the matter.
