Samsung: Smartphone with Curved Screen Arriving in October

Samsung is about to launch a device conceptually different from those currently on the market. The highlight of the new smartphone will indeed be the presence of a curved screen.
It has been learned from the Reuters news agency that the first phone of this kind will be presented in October and will initially be distributed only in the Asian market.
Korea will be the first to test what is poised to be a true innovation; however, nothing else is known, neither the name of the upcoming model nor any potential release plan in Europe and America is known.
The core of the project will certainly be an OLED-type screen, obviously flexible and with curved sides.
The project that originated this innovation actually started with the development of televisions with such screens.
However, applying all this to smaller screens has involved a lot of research and specific studies; consequently, the costs of this particular feature would also have significantly increased costs, resulting in uncompetitive smartphones.

For this reason, many manufacturers have not deemed it feasible to pursue this path, but from what is emerging in these hours, Samsung would have decided to play this card, positioning itself as the first company to do such a thing.
