Nikon has decided to launch a new interchangeable-lens camera to expand the Nikon 1 range: its name is NIKON 1 J2.
The first impression is with the lens: this is the new 1 NIKKOR 11-27.5mm f/3.5-5.6, a 2.5x zoom lens suitable for any shooting circumstance.
The high-speed 10.1-megapixel CMOS sensor also ensures rapid and precise capture of photos and videos, without ever losing quality, even when you want to test this camera underwater.
In fact, the NIKON 1 J2 can be used up to 40 meters underwater thanks to the fact that the digital camera can be equipped with the WP-N1 underwater housing, also useful for the Nikon 1 J1.
The rendering of shots in every situation can then be controlled via the display, a very bright, high-resolution 3-inch (7.5 cm diagonal) LCD screen with 921,000 dots.

All images are processed by the EXPEED 3 processor, which can process 600 megapixels per second, as it uses two engines.
The advanced hybrid autofocus system then allows for very fast focusing, adapting quickly and automatically to situations. For this very reason, burst shooting is precise, capturing up to 10 frames per second.
Not to be underestimated is the presence of an adapter for F-mount bayonet mount, for using NIKKOR DSLR lenses.
The design is very refined, minimalist, with brushed metal finishes, offered in white or black.
