Nokia unveiled the Nokia Lumia 610 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona: here are its price and features.

It’s called Nokia Lumia 610 and it’s the most affordable Nokia smartphone among the latest devices presented both at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which is still ongoing, and at CES 2012, held in January in Las Vegas.
The chosen operating system for this low-cost smartphone is Windows Phone in the “Tango” update version, supported by an 800 MHz single-core processor and 256 MB of RAM. Internal storage is 8 GB.
The screen is a 3.7-inch capacitive multitouch LCD with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and includes accelerometer and proximity sensor functions.
Everything is enclosed in a unibody aluminum casing, making this smartphone quite sleek.
The camera is 5 Megapixels, with an integrated LED flash, autofocus system, face recognition, and a feature that allows geotagging captured images. The same camera also allows for video recording and utilizes dual microphones for good quality audio recordings.
The battery is noteworthy for its durability: it’s a 1300 mAh Li-Ion, which on paper should provide 7 hours of talk time and 550 hours of standby.
Finally, the price of the Nokia Lumia 610 is around 200 euros, making it the first low-cost Windows Phone in Nokia and Windows history.
It’s worth noting that, concurrent with the launch of this new smartphone, the high-end device Nokia 808 PureView was also unveiled, and the release of the Nokia Lumia 900 in Italy was confirmed starting from the third quarter of 2012, priced at 480 euros plus VAT.
