Twitter met l’accent sur les photos en lançant une mise à jour permettant d’ajouter des tags et de télécharger plusieurs images ensemble.
Twitterpropose to its subscribers a new update, focusing all attention on the photo.
section. Images often manage to attract more attention than written words, and thus all social networks are showing that they want to favor this sharing experience.
It’s no coincidence that on the microblogging-based social network, a novelty is arriving in this regard: from today it is possible to tag photos, inserting the names/nicks of the people appearing in them.
I tagscan be at most ten per image and this will have no influence on the length of the text you want to write as a caption: the same number of characters as always will remain available.
As soon as you are tagged in a photo, you will receive an automatic notification from the system but if you prefer to avoid the presence of your name in an image, you can delete the tag or you can define the desired privacy level beforehand by modifying the relevant options in the « Settings » menu.
Another novelty brought about by this new update relates to the number of photos that can be posted simultaneously: you can insert up to four images with a single send, thus forming a sort of collage.
To test all the new photo features related to Twitter, all you have to do is launch the app, at least on Apple devices: as learned from a post on Twitter’s official blog, the update has arrived exclusively first on iOS terminals.
In the next few days it will also arrive on Android, until it is totally functional and operational on the web platform as well.
