iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus: these are the names of the brand new Apple devices.
Apple’s highly anticipated keynote has unveiled the latest news from Cupertino, with particular reference to the release of the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
Exactly as anticipated here on FullPress, the new Cupertino terminals are indeed two, with different sizes.
iPhone 6 is equipped with a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with a resolution of 1334×750 pixels, while iPhone 6 Plus has the same type of display but at 5.5 inches, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 1080p.
The chip for both is a 64-bit Apple A8, enhanced with an M8 motion coprocessor, specifically designed for fitness activities and therefore for interaction with new wearable devices. The new CPU promises 50 times improved performance in speed, while simultaneously saving power consumption.
The operating system is naturally the new iOS8, and among the “standard” equipment are the barometer, accelerometer, and gyroscope.
Significant attention has been paid to the camera: the main camera is 8 megapixels with True Tone flash assistance and autofocus. The f/2.2 aperture and iSight technology ensure excellent results. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 mounts digital image stabilization while the iPhone 6 Plus has an optical image stabilization (OIS) type.
The secondary camera is the same for both models and is equipped with FaceTime HD technology.
All of this is housed in a robust, high-design shell of glass and metal, very slim and elegant.
