The new Toshiba business notebook series has been technologically updated to maximize performance and efficiency, thanks to the integration of up to 8th generation Intel Core processors. The new notebooks are Portégé X20W-E and X30-E, Tecra X40-E, A50-E and Z50-E, Satellite Pro A50-E and R50-E.
Toshiba has unveiled seven new E-Generation devices E-Generation, offering professional performance and durability to support users wherever they are. The new Toshiba business notebook series has been technologically updated to maximize performance and efficiency, thanks to the integration of Intel Core processors up to the 8thageneration. The new notebooks, announced today, are Portégé X20W-E and X30-E, Tecra X40-E, A50-E and Z50-E, Satellite Pro A50-E and R50-E.
Featuring an elegant design, the new E-Generation notebooks offer a wide range of features to ensure advanced security, connectivity, and reliability. The expansion of the Toshiba portfolio further demonstrates the company’s deep experience in the B2B PC sector, offering durable devices designed to be ultra-mobile, ultra-slim, and ultra-light without compromising power and performance.
Powerful and professional performance
The new E-Generation range is designed to offer versatility, durability, and long-term performance. For example, the new Portégé X30-E features an anti-glare touchscreen and the innovative In-Cell Touch technology, which allows professionals to browse and interact with content without compromising the notebook’s design or display. Devices in the new range are available with Intel Core™ processors up to the 8thageneration, ensuring unprecedented power and performance. Thanks to DDR4 RAM (2400Mhz) and the integration of the new 1TB SSD, the new notebooks offer exceptional speed.

Secure and connected
The E-Generation range is designed to protect business data, thanks to integrated security features. All new Portégé and Tecra as well as Satellite Pro A50-E models are equipped with SecurePad, a touchpad with a fingerprint reader. Additionally, the Portégé X20W-E and X30-E and Tecra X40-E integrate an IR webcam for facial authentication via Windows Hello or Intel Authenticate. Thanks to Toshiba’s proprietary BIOS and TPM 2.0 encryption, users are further protected, and the risk of third-party interference, which makes the product more vulnerable, is significantly reduced.
To maximize connectivity, the Portégé X20W-E and X30-E and Tecra X-40-E will offer integrated LTE support.
Premium portability and reliability
Within a slim and elegant design, the new range of Toshiba notebooks offers professional users power and durability, enabling them to work all day thanks to exceptional battery life.
The X series notebooks have an ultra-slim design: the Portégé X20W-E is only 15.4mm thick and weighs 1.1kg, the Portégé X30-E has a profile of 15.9mm and weighs just 1.05kg, while the Tecra X40-E is only 16.9mm and weighs 1.25kg.
Available with a slim magnesium chassis, these notebooks are characterized by a honeycomb design, which increases their durability and safety.
All Toshiba notebooks have passed rigorous independent HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test) tests, which simulate three years of use to ensure the reliability and durability required for daily professional notebook use.
