Spotify Opens in the United States: Streaming Music in Quantity

A new streaming music service is opening its doors in the United States: it’s Spotify, which, boosted by a debut with 15 million tracks already available, is preparing to conquer Americans, just as it did Europeans.

Although it has not yet officially landed in Italy, Spotify is a streaming music reality already known in our country: its name is beginning to circulate, due to talk of a probable agreement between Spotify and Facebook.
Just today, the online music service is also opening in the United States, following its arrival in parts of Europe. At its debut, Spotify presents itself to the star-spangled market with a catalog of 15 million songs; not only that: it arrives to shatter the competition with the full support of some rather weighty launch partners.
Companies of the caliber of Motorola, Coca Cola, and Chevrolet have decided to support Spotify in the United States market, with significant brand image return for the online music service.
Spotify thus allows unlimited streaming music listening, both for free and through the purchase of subscription packages.
In that case, it will also be possible to purchase songs and transfer them to your own devices.
Furthermore, by downloading the Spotify app, you can have the same functionalities available on your smartphone and even on an iPod Touch.
When will Spotify also arrive in Italy?
At the moment, there is no known possible arrival in our country, but perhaps, if the agreement with Facebook is effectively signed and realized, the music streaming system will spread in no time wherever Facebook is present.
