We presented the iCoyote application a few months ago; today, we are expanding the topic of “speed camera detectors” by discussing the new product from Coyote: Mini Coyote Plus.
The first feature that stands out, compared to its predecessor Mini Coyote, is the introduction of a color OLED screen which effectively replaces the monochrome screen of the past. The screen dimensions also change: from 1.3 inches to 1.8 inches.
Here, another new feature, the speed limit of the road you are traveling on will always be visible: if the limit is exceeded, the numbers will turn red.
A touch “button” has also been included, via which it will be possible to report speed camera locations, traffic lights with cameras, or simply traffic jams.
The internal GPS has also been enhanced, directly connected to NAVTEQ, so all the usual warning functions are extended to state and provincial roads throughout Italy.
Therefore, in addition to the speed camera detector function, Mini Coyote Plus offers traffic information and helps maintain correct driving behavior by reporting exceeding speed limits.
The price of Mini Coyote Plus is 199 euros, to which a 99 euro annual subscription must be added; however, the first 2 months are currently free and can be extended by another two months by registering on the mycoyote.net website.
