Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray: price and compact size

Small in appearance but great in performance and technical features, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray is an Android smartphone with a far from ordinary interface.

 

Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray is one of the new Sony Ericsson smartphones in the Xperia family, suitable for everyone but certainly not going to leave young people indifferent.
Its interface, in fact, has been rethought and “redesigned”: although it is Android 2.3, it features distinctive and impactful animations that further simplify the user experience.
The processor is a Qualcomm MSM8255 1 GHz, it is a single core; even though it is not a dual core, the device does not make you miss speed, as the 512 MB RAM, the new interface mentioned above, and the Adreno 205 video card combine perfectly to provide agility.
The rear camera – that is, the main one – is 8 megapixels, with an LED flash and autofocus. From the same source it is possible to capture high-definition videos.
Preloaded are applications to access the main social networks – Twitter and Facebook first and foremost – with a single gesture to nurture your social network on the go. At the same time, it will be possible to use email, with the possibility to receive notifications in real time.
All supported by a 1500 mAh battery that allows you to comfortably last until evening with average device usage.
Regarding the screen, there is a 3.3-inch LCD with LED backlighting available, with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.
As for the dimensions, they are 111 x 53 x 9.4 mm, so a rather slim thickness, weighing in fact just 100 grams.
The recommended price of Ericsson Xperia Ray is 299 euros but the device is already experiencing price reductions, so it is possible to buy it for less.
