The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is ready for release, including in Italy: here are its main features.
Samsung has unveiled its three aces in the tablet sector by introducing a new line of devices called Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, characterized by three different display sizes.
This article will focus on the new Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, the largest of the new arrivals from Samsung.
Its display features a large 10-inch WXGA panel with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels, housed in a body measuring 243x176x8 millimeters and weighing approximately 500 grams.
From a purely technical standpoint, the processor – the heart of the tablet – is a 1.6 GHz Intel dual-core. This will be supported by 1 GB of RAM and, optionally, 16 GB or 32 GB of internal storage.
Connectivity will be ensured by modules for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, and LTE (4G), and the multimedia section offers two cameras: the rear camera boasts 3 megapixels with an LED flash and autofocus, while the front camera has 1.3 megapixels.
Perhaps the main camera is a bit too basic for a tablet that is expected to be the top-of-the-line model.
The native operating system will be Android 4.2, and there will be numerous pre-installed apps made by Samsung to get users started immediately with the tablet.
At the moment, it is not possible to indicate the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch as the company has not released any official information.
Regarding its arrival in Italian stores, the tablet is expected in September.
