Ricoh GR Digital IV is a decidedly fast and punctual camera when shooting, perfect for capturing images quickly. Here is its price and its main features.
Ricoh GR Digital IV has been on the market for some time, presented in versions with a black or white external shell; the latter, however, is a limited edition.
It is a camera that embraces the concept of speed; thanks to a focusing system called “Hybrid AF” it can shoot with times less than 0.2 seconds.
This is possible thanks to the mechanism that starts from the pair of CMOS AF sensors which automatically measure the focusing distance and thus shorten the technical times usually required for the actual shot.
The photos are sharp and steady, thanks to the 10 megapixel CCD sensor with dimensions of 1/1.7″ which features an image stabilizer and a lens of 28mm f/1.9 from the GR Lens series.
This technical equipment prompted the company Ricoh to present the Ricoh GR Digital IV as the perfect camera for street photography, that is the “specialty” of photography that favors apparently casual shots, taken on the street, at events or simply among the people who move daily.
These are therefore photos aimed at capturing the moment, more than the falsely optimal situation of perfect light: this is precisely the absolute strength of Ricoh GR Digital IV.
Functions and shots can be selected and controlled through the convenient 3-inch display that ensures good visibility even in direct light conditions on the screen.
It is undoubtedly a camera to recommend to already experienced users, especially because it features a hybrid auto-focus system.
The price of the Ricoh GR Digital IV recommended by the company is around 540 euros for the black version, while for the white version you need to add about 40 euros.
