Panasonic took advantage of CES 2012 to introduce a new and innovative camcorder: the Panasonic HC-V10.
The standout feature of this HD camcorder is undoubtedly the 63x optical super zoom with Enhanced Optical 70x Zoom. While the zoom itself would be noteworthy, the accompanying Enhanced Optical 70x Zoom functionality further extends its capability, provided you are adjusting towards the wide-angle end.
This allows you to capture distant subjects without significant loss in image quality and sharpness.
In this regard, the POWER O.I.S. comes into play, a valuable aid that enables the use of this camcorder in all circumstances, even without a tripod, by automatically reducing the classic hand shake.
As for the wide-angle, it is 31.6 mm (equivalent to a 35 mm camcorder).
High-definition videos shot with the Panasonic HC-V10 can be saved in MP4 and can be recorded in iFrame format, thus speeding up both video editing and sharing operations.
The price of the Panasonic HC-V10 is 249.99 euros, but the camcorder is not yet on sale.
