PaintCrypt is free software that allows you to encrypt your files and guarantees high security by protecting them from prying eyes.
How it works:
PaintCrypt allows you to encrypt a file, making it unreadable to anyone who doesn’t know the password.
Once encrypted, the file becomes unusable by any software. To reuse it, you must decrypt the file using the same password used for encryption. It was developed by Paintweb, who kindly provided it to us.
When to use Paintcrypt:
– If you want to archive files with private content
– When transferring files using a USB drive not protected by a password
– If the same PC is shared by multiple users
To make the file readable again, you will need to decrypt it using Paintcrypt.
