Olympus E-M10 Mark II: Price and Features of the New Mirrorless Camera

The new Olympus E-M10 Mark II mirrorless camera is coming soon: here is the selling price and main features.

Olympus has recently added a new model to its extensive catalog. This time it’s the release of a new mirrorless camera: the Olympus E-M10 Mark II.
The body is made of metal, designed with a decidedly captivating aesthetic.
From a purely technical standpoint, the sensor is a 16.1-megapixel Live MOS type, complemented by a sophisticated and precise 5-axis image stabilization system. This new feature operates regardless of the lens chosen for the camera, thus ensuring a significant reduction in camera shake.
Regarding autofocus, it utilizes 81-point technology.
Many camera functions can be directly controlled via the display: it’s a 3-inch diagonal touchscreen that can also be tilted.
The camera also features an OLED electronic viewfinder with 2.36 million dots and TTL flash, as well as a convenient Wi-Fi module for quickly sharing and downloading captured images or recorded videos (in Full HD, up to 60 frames per second).

Speaking of video, the Olympus E-M10 Mark II supports 4K format and allows for shooting timelapse footage, which is very popular right now.
As for the release date, it is expected in mid-September 2015, including in Italy.
Regarding the price of the Olympus E-M10 Mark II, it will be 599 euros for the body only.
