As widely announced on FullPress, Nokia is unveiling its new models, among which the Nokia Lumia 800 definitely stands out: price and features here.
We discussed this on FullPress a few days ago, and just minutes ago we received official confirmation: the Nokia 800 exists, even though its full name is Nokia Lumia 800.
It’s not the only smartphone presented during Nokia World 2011, an event still ongoing as we write. However, the Nokia Lumia 800 is the flagship model, likely the most anticipated.
This is indeed the first smartphone device with Windows Phone Mango, the finally mature fruit born from the agreement between Nokia and Microsoft.
Nokia Lumia 800 Price
The price we had previously announced has been confirmed: the Nokia Lumia 800 will cost 499 euros in Italy, VAT included.
Regarding the technical specifications, we confirm the presence of a slightly curved 3.7-inch screen. Specifically, it is an AMOLED ClearBlack display, perfect for viewing photos taken with the 8-megapixel camera equipped with Carl Zeiss optics.
The processor is 1.4 GHz, and for storage capacity, we have 16 GB of internal memory and 26 GB of available memory with SkyDrive.
Its strong social vocation is evident – ensured by WCDMA and HSPA coverage – as is the gaming experience: Nokia Drive, Nokia Music, Mix Radio, and Gigfinder complete the picture of a wide and expanding content offering.

It is already possible to pre-order the Nokia Lumia 800 in Italy, one of the very first countries where the new Nokia smartphone will arrive.
