Not just a smartphone but a “cameraphone“: the Nokia Lumia 1020 is making waves because of its camera.

Nokia has officially presented its new flagship model: it is called “Nokia Lumia 1020” and has already been nicknamed “cameraphone”.
Its main feature is indeed the presence of a camera that certainly does not go unnoticed: it consists indeed of a second-generation sensor with a whopping 41 megapixels.
This is complemented by a Xenon flash and a zoom with PureView technology with an attached automatic optical image stabilization mechanism, for sharp and precise photos and videos. The “Nokia Pro Camera” app will then do the rest, to edit, modify and then quickly and intuitively share the shots.
Furthermore, the “Dual Capture” functionality is automatically activated, which takes a 38-megapixel high-resolution image and then makes it 5-megapixel for faster sharing on social networks.
Then there is a second camera, placed at the front, useful for video calls: in this case, the equipment is basic, being a 1.2-megapixel camera.
As for the more strictly “smartphone” technical features, it is worth noting the presence of a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor based on 2 GB of RAM. The internal memory available natively is 32 GB and there does not seem to be any possibility of using a microSD card to expand it.
The display is 4.5 inches AMOLED type with Gorilla Glass coating, with a resolution of 1280×768 pixels.
4G network connection is also assured and the NFC module is also present.
The proposed colors will be three: white, black or yellow.
The communication of the price of Nokia Lumia 1020 for the Italian market is awaited, where the cameraphone is expected to arrive in the course of the next quarter.
