NGM is also entering the single-SIM device sector and presents the new NGM Winn smartphone: here are its features and recommended price.
NGM has always been characterized as a company specializing in dual-SIM phones, however, it has just released and marketed a single-SIM smartphone, the first of its kind for NGM.
Its name is NGM Winn – exactly with two “n”s, not a typo – and it runs on Android: specifically, it is equipped with operating system 2.3 Gingerbread.
On paper, this smartphone appears to be powerful, given the presence of a 1.2 GHz processor which also contributes to the speed of operations.
The screen is a 4-inch multitouch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, thus it is a fairly large screen, in line with smartphones currently on the market.
The camera and multimedia features include a 5-megapixel camera, also useful for shooting videos in HD resolution. On the front, there is also a VGA camera for video calls and video chats.
Regarding connectivity, HSPA and Wi-Fi high-speed modules ensure a satisfying web and social network browsing experience; furthermore, an interesting feature is highlighted: with the Tethering functionality, it is possible to share the internet connection with other Wi-Fi enabled devices.
NGM Winn can also become a satellite navigator, since the device comes pre-loaded with NGM Navigation software with map data for Europe, the United States, and Canada, which can be downloaded for free at any time onto the smartphone. Updates will also always be free.
Finally, the battery of this device is 1350 mAh and, from an aesthetic standpoint, the available casing colors are White, Pink, Black & Blue, and Black & Gold.
As for the price of the NGM Winn, it is 299 euros as recommended by the company. It should be noted that a 8 GB memory card is already included in the package.
