A truly low-cost price for the new Lumia 435, a smartphone soon to be released in Italy: here are the technical details.
Microsoft has officially announced the upcoming commercialization of a new smartphone.
It is the Lumia 435, a device designed for those who desire an entry-level terminal at a low price.
Despite having basic features, the Lumia 435 does not compromise any fundamental functions, also completing the package with an attractive “look”.
The body is indeed very colorful, available in white, black, green, and orange.
The integrated operating system is Windows Phone 8.1, but it is already known that as soon as the next system update is available, Microsoft will also release it for this smartphone.
The processor is a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200, supported by 1 GB of RAM, while the native internal memory is 8 GB. However, it can be further expanded via a microSD card, up to a maximum of 128 GB.
The screen is 4 inches with an 800×480 pixel resolution, and there are two cameras: the main one is 2 megapixels, while the front one – a VGA type – is only 0.3 megapixels. Perhaps a bit too “Spartan”, so to speak.
The connectivity section includes Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.0 modules, but the real “revelation” is the rich set of functionalities, thanks to the presence of the Microsoft Office package.
Two other aspects to consider are the native availability of Skype and, above all, the Cortana assistant functionality.
All of this will be offered in Italian stores starting next February 13th, at a truly modest cost: the price of the Lumia 435 is only 89 euros.
