The LG Optimus L9 is one of the upcoming smartphones from LG: here are its features, just officially announced by the manufacturer.
Another new smartphone presented by LG: the LG Optimus L9 is about to arrive in stores.
Its elegant and sleek style is immediately recognizable, in its black or white casing. Its thickness is only 9.1mm, enclosed in squared and manageable shapes.
Another element that stands out is the 4.7-inch IPS display, large and bright for viewing images in detail.
Regarding its internal technical specifications, we note the presence of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and a 1GHz dual-core processor.
The internal memory is 4GB e-MMC, while the RAM is 1GB DDR2 (RAM).
There are two cameras, and the main one has 5 Megapixels. The other is a front-facing VGA camera.
Significant attention has been paid to battery life: for this reason, the battery is 2,150mAh SiO+, offering good endurance even under heavy use.
Among the new default applications, QTranslator is certainly noteworthy, as it translates not only individual words but entire sentences, and can even scan texts simply by pointing the camera at what you want to translate. The electronic dictionary will do the rest, drawing from a repertoire of 44 languages and 66 dialects.
The price of the LG Optimus L9 has not yet been officially announced, but its release is expected in October.
