The new streaming service dedicated to the little ones is about to arrive in Italy too: it will be called DisneyLife.
News on the horizon, once again in relation to the streaming sector and therefore the offering of digital content.
The creation of a new platform has been announced, designed to become the “Netflix” for children.
It will be called DisneyLife and will be able to stream cartoons, movies, and specific programs, all branded Disney.
Not only that: audiobooks, ebooks, theme songs, and songs will also be made available. The entire fairytale universe of Disney and the more current one of Pixar, presented in the style of the “new web”.
Just like the aforementioned Netflix, DisneyLife will also operate on a monthly subscription model: at the time of writing, we can only report the rate applicable in Great Britain.
This is, in fact, the first European area chosen for the platform’s debut; however, it has already been announced that access will soon be extended to other countries, including Italy.
The price of a DisneyLife subscription has been set at £9.99 per month, with a free first taste: you can indeed register to try DisneyLife for free for the first 30 days.
A testing method to which other giants of entertainment and streaming services on the web have already accustomed us.
Once the account is activated, the content can be watched – and/or listened to – on multiple devices, up to a maximum of 10 devices: PC, Smart TV, tablet, notebook, but also Google’s Chromecast stick.
Naturally, as it is a platform designed for children’s entertainment, secure parental controls are provided, which can also be optionally set to indicate – for example – a time frame during which viewing is allowed.
Another feature that will certainly be very welcome is the ability to access DisneyLife content offline, so as to be able to save cartoons, TV series, and movies, to have them available even without a connection.
As soon as the service begins its operations in Italy as well, we will not fail to report it and indicate the prices.
